Performative Scenographies

Ellada Damianou

Dates
Saturday 23 May
Sunday 24 May

This research investigates the concept of “Liquid Scenography”—a system of portable, high-tension architectures designed to be sustained by the human body. By utilizing principles of Biotensegrity and origami logic, the work explores how materials like 3mm/5mm cordage and industrial elastics can create temporary, 3D volumes.

Ellada Damianou

Ellada Damianou is a Brussels-based multidisciplinary artist and rehearsal director working across dance, theater, fashion, and opera. She currently serves as a rehearsal director and artistic assistant for Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe, Rosas/Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, and A7LA5/Radouan Mriziga. Additionally, she acts as a costume designer and wardrobe manager for Max Colombie (Oscar and the Wolf).
